نطس

نَاطِسٌ ذ , (accord. to one copy of the S, and the L, and the CK, and a MS. copy of the K,) or ↓ نَاطُوسٌ, (accord. to the TA. as from the K,) or both, (accord. to one copy of the S,) A spy, who searches for news, or tidings, and then brings them. (S, L, K, TA.)
