(IDrd, K.) ― -b2- He plucked, or pulled, flesh, and the like, by pinching it with his fingers, (Lth, K,) and by taking hold upon it with his teeth. (Lth, TA.) ― -b3- نَتَشَ الجَرَادُ الأَرْضَ, aor. and inf. n. as above, The locusts ate the herbage of the earth. (TA.) ― -b4- مَا نَتَشْتُ مِنْ فُلَانٍ شَيْئًا I did not obtain, (S,) or take, (A,) from such a one anything.
