نبذ

مِنْبَذَةٌ ذ A pillow, or cushion; (Lh, S, A, L, K;) upon which one reclines, or sits: so called because it is thrown upon the ground to be sat upon: (L:) pl. مَنَابِذُ. (A.) Ex. تَرَبَّعُوا عَلَى المَنَابِذِ [ They sat cross-legged upon the pillows, or cushions ]. (A.)
