مر

مَمَرٌّ ذ A place of مُرُور [i. e. passing; passing by; &c.; or a place of passage: see 1]. (S.) You say قَعَدْتُ عَلَى مَمَرِّهِ [ I sat at his place of passing ]. (A.) ― -b2- It is also an inf. n.: see مَرَّ هِ. In the text, the character between ر and ه is missing, although it does have a kasra. (S.)
