لقم

لُقْمَةٌ ذ A morsel, gobbet, or mouthful: what is [ swallowed, or] eaten quickly, at once, of bread [&c.]; like as جُرْعَةٌ signifies what is swallowed at once in drinking: (Msb:) or what is prepared to be [ swallowed, or] eaten quickly [ at once ]. (K, TA.) ― -b2- لُقْمَةٌ القَاضِى, and لُقْمَةُ الخَلِيفَةِ: see زُمَاوَرْدٌ, art. ورد; and مُيَسَّرٌ.
