لُزُومُ مَا لَا يَلْزَمُ ذ The imposing upon one's self what is not indispensable; or adhering to a mode of construction that is not necessarily to be followed: as in the following instance in the خُطْبَة of the Kámoos: وَبَلَغُوا مِنَ الْمَقَاصِدِ قَاصِيَتَهَا وَمَلَكُوا مِنَ المَحَاسِنِ نَاصِيَتَهَا.
