Root entry · 1 derived lemma1 لَاآءَ ذ , aor. يَلُوْءُ, inf. n. لَوْءَةٌ, app., He was foul, ugly, or deformed, in countenance. ] لَوْءَةٌ, accord. to the K, is the same as سَوْءَةٌ; but this is probably a mistake for شَوْءَةٌ, The being foul, ugly, or deformed, in countenance; [which is the signification of لَوَّةٌ]. (TA.) [See art. لوى.] ― -b2- هٰذَا وَاللّٰهِ الشَّوْءَةُ وَاللَّوْءَةُ, and اللَّوَّةُ, [app., This, by Allah, is foulness and ugliness! ] (TA [app. from the T.])
