لج

بَحْرٌ لُجِّىٌّ ذ , (S, K,) and ↓ لِجِّىٌّ, (K,) and ↓ لُجَاجٌ, (L,) A vast and deep sea. (S, L, K.) In ↓ لِجِىٌّ, the first vowel is assimilated to the second to make the word more easy of pronunciation. (TA.)
