كبر

4 اكبرهُ ذ , (S, Msb, K,) inf. n. اـِكْبَارٌ; (Msb;) and ↓ استكبرهُ; (K;) He deemed it great [or formidable; see an ex., voce فَظِعَ;] it was great in his estimation; (IJ, K;) syn. اـِسْتَعْظَمَهُ. (S, Msb.) ― -b2- اكبرت She brought forth a great child, or young one. (IKtt.) ― -b3- أَصْغَرَتِ النَّاقَةُ وَأَكْبَرَتْ: see art. صغر.
