كب

كَبَابٌ ذ i. q. طَبَاهَجٌ; (S;) i. e., (TA,) (tropical:) Flesh-meat cut up [ into small pieces ] (K) and roasted, or broiled; or thrown upon burning coals: (TA:) [ small morsels of meat, generally mutton or lamb, roasted on skewers ]. Asserted by El-Khafájee to be Persian; and thought to be so by Yaakoob. (TA.)
