كءب

كَأْبَاآءُ ذ Grief, mourning, unhappiness, sorrow, or sadness: (K:) [in which sense the inf. n. كَاآبَةٌ is more commonly used:] or intense grief, &c.: used both as an inf. n. and as an epithet. (TA.) See كَئِيبٌ.
