(S, K, TA.) [See also جُوعٌ below.] ― -b2- [Hence,] جَاعَ اـِلَيْهِ, (K,) or جَاعَ اـِلَى لِقَائِهِ, (M, TA,) (tropical:) He desired, (M, K, *) and longed, (K,) [ as though hungering, ] to meet with him; like عَطِشَ. (M, K. *) And جَاعَ اـِلَى مَالِهِ (tropical:) He longed for his property. (AZ.)
