جهل

مَجْهَلَةٌ مجهل مجهله مجهلة [ A cause of, or an incitement to, ignorant, silly, foolish, or wrong, conduct; ] a thing that incites one to الجَهْل. (S, K.) Hence the saying, الوَلَدُ مَجْهَلَةٌ [ Children are a cause of silly, or foolish, conduct ]. (S.)
