جمد

2 جمّد جمد , inf. n. تَجْمِيدٌ; (K;) or ↓ جَمَدَ; (so in the L;) It (water, and expressed juice, L) was about to congeal, concrete, become solid, or freeze; was at the point of congealing, &c.; expl. by حَاوَلَ أَنْ يَجْمُدَ. (L, K.) -A2- [And the former, It caused water &c. to congeal. ]
