جمح

جَمْحَةُ جمحه جمحة [ A trick of overcoming the rider, and running away with him ]. You say, دَابَّةٌ سَمْحَةٌ مَا بِهَا جَمْحَةٌ وَ لَا رَمْحَةٌ [ A beast submissive, or easy, or gentle: there is not in her a trick of overcoming the rider, and running away with him, nor a trick of kicking ]. (A.)
