جفل

(K.) ― -b2- Great, or large: so in the phrase جُمَّةٌ جَفُولٌ [ A great, or large, quantity of hair extending beyond the ears ]. (K.) ― -b3- An aged woman; (K, * TA;) as also ↓ اـِجْفِيلٌ: (K:) pl. of the former as above. (K.)
