جذم

جَامٌ جام [an epithet] of the measure فَعَّالٌ from الجَذْمُ meaning القَطْعُ: so in the phrase جَذَّامُ حَبْلِ الهَوَى [ Wont to sever the bond of love ], in a verse of Ows Ibn-Thaalabeh. (Ham p. 334.)
