جحر

جَحْرَةٌ جحر جحره جحرة (S, K) and جَحَرَةٌ (K) (assumed tropical:) A severe, hard, or distressful, year; (S, K;) one of drought, dearth, or unfruitfulness, (K,) and of little rain; because it drives the people into the tents, or houses. (TA.)
