جبس

جَبَّاسَةٌ جباسه جباسة The place of جِبْس; [i. e., in which gypsum is found, or prepared; ] as also مجبَّسة [i. e. ↓ مُجَبَّسَةٌ, or, more probably, it is a mistranscription, for ↓ مَجْبَسَةٌ, like مَحْصَاةٌ (originally مَحَصَيَةٌ) and مَبْقَلَةٌ &c.]. (TA.)
