همل
Root entry · 1 derived lemma1 هَمَلَ ذ , aor. هَمُلَ , inf. n. هَمَلاَنٌ; and ↓ اِنْهَمَلَ; It (water) overflowed, and poured forth. (Mgh.) ― -b2- تُهْمَلُ عَلَى رُؤُوسِهَا وَظَهُورِهَا; so in a copy of the K, voce وَسُوطٌ: in other copies of the K, تُحْمَلُ or يُحْمَلُ: if the first be correct, the meaning is probably Camels left without rein and without burden; and this is agreeable with the context.
