Q. 1 هَرْوَلَ ذ He walked quickly: (Msb:) [ he went a kind of trotting pace between a walk and a run; see رَمَلَ;) هَرْوَلَةٌ is not so quick as خَبَبٌ [ an amble ]; (Msb;) and is between مَشْىٌ [ a walk ] and عَدْوٌ [ a run ]: (S, Msb, K:) it is a kind of عَدْوٌ: (S:) or quicker than عَنَقٌ: or a quick walk. (K.)
