3 هَايَثَهُ ذ , inf. n. مُهَايَثَهُ, He contended, or disputed, with him for superiority in abundance, or multitude; as, for instance, of wealth, or of dependants or followers. (TK.) مُهَايَثَةٌ is syn. with مُكَاثَرَهٌ. (K.) ― -b2- See 10.
