هَمْرَجَةٌ ذ Confusion; (K, L;) as also هَمْرَجٌ, and ↓ هَمَرَّجٌ, and هَمَرَّجَةٌ: ex. of the last وَقَعَ القَوْمُ فِى هَمَرَّجَةٍ The people fell into a state of confusion: (L:) and the third (L) and fourth (TA) signify also civil war, or conflict and faction, or discord, or dissension; syn. فِتْنَةٌ. (L, TA.) ― -b2- A confused manner, or state, in walking. (S.) ― -b3- A confused noise, or mixture of voices, or unintelligible sounds, of men; as also ↓ هُمْرُجَانٌ. (K.) ― -b4- Lightness, or agility, and quickness. (K.) ― -b5- What is rain, or false; syn. بَاطِلٌ. (K.) ― -b6- الغُولُ هَمْرَجَةٌ مِنَ الجِنِّ The Ghool are a mixture of the Jinn. (L.)
