R. Q. 1 هَثْهَثَ ذ , inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, He mixed, or confounded; like مَثْمَثَ. (TA.) هثهث أَمْرَهُ He confounded his affair. (TA.) ― -b2- هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It was mixed, or confounded. (S, K.) ― -b3- هَثْهَثَ, (inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, K,) He (a magistrate, S) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically. (S, K.) ― -b4- هثهث النَّاسَ He (a magistrate) acted unjustly, injuriously, or tyrannically, towards the people. (TA.) -A2- هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ, It sent forth quickly: (K:) [ex.] هَثْهَثَتِ السَّحَابَةُ بِقُطْرِهَا وَثَلْجِهَا The cloud sent forth quickly its rain and its snow. (S.) -A3- هَثْهَثَ, inf. n. هَثْهَثَةٌ (and هثهاث, TA) He trod, or trampled, vehemently. (K.) ― -b2- It (a pasturing herd or flock) trod the fresh green pasture until it was destroyed, حتى يوتى [So in the L, app. حَتَّى يُؤُتِىَ].)
