غى

6 تَغَايَتِ الطَّيْرُ عَلَى الشَّىْءِ ذ The birds hovered, or circled, round about the thing. (TA.) [See also 2.] -A2- تَغَايَوْا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى قَتَلُوهُ signifies the same as تَغَاوَوْا. (TA.) [See the latter, in art. غو or غوى.]
