غفر

غَوْفَرٌ ذ The autumnal بِطِّيخ [i. e. melon or water-melon ]: (K:) or a species thereof (Sgh, K, TA) It is said that the بِطِّيخ and the غَوْفَر are of those things in the cases of which the giving of the tithe is not incumbent. (Mgh.)
