غطو ند غطى

غَاطِيَةٌ ذ [as a subst.] A grape-vine covering the ground: (IB in art. عجب:) occurring in a verse cited in that art.: so called because of its high growth and its spreading: (TA in the present art.:) or a grape-vine having many نَوَامٍ, i. e. branches. (T and TA in art. نمى.)
