غطو ند غطى

5 تغطّى بِهِ ذ (S, MA) He was, or became, covered with it; [or he covered himself with it; namely, his garment [&c.]; (MA;) [and so ↓ اغتطى; for] اغتطى signifies the same as تغطّى. (K.)
