(TA.) You say, ظَبْىٌ غَضِيضُ الطَّرْفِ A gazelle having languishing eyes. (S.) And اـِنَّكَ لغَضِيضُ الطَّرْفِ نَقِىُّ الظرْفِ, meaning (assumed tropical:) [ Verily ] thou art faithful, not treacherous; by الظَّرْف being meant وِعَاؤُهُ.
