غسق

4 اغسق ذ : see 1, first sentence. ― -b2- Also He entered upon the غَسَق, (O, K, TA,) i. e. the beginning of the darkness. (TA.) And, said of the مُؤَذِّن, He delayed, or deferred, the [ call to prayer of ] sunset to the غَسَق of the night. (S, O, K.)
