غرب

غَرِيبَةٌ ذ fem. of غَرِيبٌ [q. v.] ― -b2- [Hence, as a subst.,] الغَرِيبَةُ signifies (tropical:) The hand-mill: so called because the neighbours borrow it, (A, K, TA.) and thus it does not remain with its owners. (A, TA.)
