8 اغتثّت الخَيْلُ ذ (as also اغتفّت and اغتبّت, O) The horses found, or lighted upon, somewhat of the [ herbage called ] رَبِيع, (O, K, TA,) and became fat in consequence thereof after having been lean. (TA.)
