فهم

مَفْهُومٌ ذ [pass. part. n. of فَهِمَ; Understood, or known. ― -b2- And hence, لَفْظٍ مَفْهُومٌ The acceptation of a word or an expression; i. e. the meaning, or sense, in which it is understood: see also مَعْنًى, in art. عنى].
