فلق

فُتِلَ فُلَانٌ أَفْلَقَ قِتْلَةٍ ذ means Such a one was slain with the hardest, or most violent, sort of slaughter. (Lh, TA.) ― -b2- And مَا رَأَيْتُ سَيْرًا أَفْلَقَ مِنْ هٰذَا I have not seen a journey further in extent than this. (Lh, TA.)
