فلج

فَيْلَجٌ ذ [The cocoon of a silk-worm; ] the thing from which قَزّ is obtained: an arabicized word; [from the Pers. Pِيلَهْ pélah; but said to be] originally فَيْلَق, and thus some pronounce it. (Msb,)
