Q. 2 تَفَرْعَنَ ذ He (a man, TA) affected the nature, or disposition, of the فَرَاعِنَة [pl. of فِرْعَوْنُ, and here meaning such as are inordinately proud or corrupt or unbelieving, &c., as were the Pharaohs ]. (S, * K, TA.)
