فرص

فِرْصَةٌ ذ A piece of wool, (As, M,) or of cotton, (As, S, M, O, Msb, K,) or of rag, (S, O, Msb, K,) with which a woman wipes herself, to purify herself from the catamenia; (S, M, * O, Msb, K;) as also ↓ فَرْصَةٌ and ↓ فُرْصَةٌ: (Kr, M:) from فَرَصَ meaning “ he cut ” a thing: (As, TA:) pl. فِرَاصٌ: (K:) or they say فِرَاصٌ, as though pl. of فِرْصَةٌ. (IDrd, O.) ― -b2- And, accord. to AAF, A piece, or bit, of mush. (M.) -A2- See also فُرْصَةٌ.
