فرج

فَرْجَةٌ ذ : see فَرَجٌ, in five places. ― -b2- It is said in the T, that أَدْرَكُوا القَوْمَ عَلَى فَرْجَتِهِمْ or ↓ فُرْجَتِهِمْ occurs in a trad. as meaning على هزِيمَتِهِمْ [i. e. They overtook the people, or party, in their state of defeat ]: but it is also related as with قاف and حاآء [app. قَرْحَتِهِمْ]. (TA.)
