فتق

2 فَتَّقَ see the preceding paragraph, first sentence: ― -b2- and see also فُتُقٌ. ― -b3- فتّق الكَلَامَ (tropical:) He rectified the language; or trimmed it, and removed its faults, or defects: or, as Zj says, he made its meaning clear. (TA.)
