1 دَافَهُ داف دافه دافة , (T, M, Msb,) first pers. دُفْتُهُ, (S, K,) aor. يَدُوفُهُ, (T, Msb,) inf. n. دَوْفٌ; (T, M, Msb, K;) and ↓ ادافهُ, (M, TA,) inf. n. اـِدَافَةٌ; (TA;) He mixed it; (M, K;) generally meaning medicine, and perfume: (M:) and (K) he moistened it, (S, Msb, K,) namely, medicine, &c., (S,) with water &c., (S, Msb,) or with water and the like: (K:) or دافه فِى المَاآءِ [ he steeped it in water ], namely, perfume, &c.: (T:) and دَافَهُ, aor. يَدِيفُهُ, inf. n. دَيْفٌ, is a dial. var. thereof: (Msb:) and فَادَهُ, aor. يَفُودُهُ signifies the same.
