دلو

دَالٍ دال Pulling up, or out, a دَلْو [or bucket] from a well: (T:) and occurring in poetry in the sense of مُدْلٍ [meaning letting down a دَلْو into a well]: (S:) pl. دُلَاةٌ. (TA.)
