لَيْلَةٌ مِدْجَانٌ ليلة مدجان A dark night. (K.) ― -b2- شَاةٌ مِدْجَانٌ [ A sheep or goat, or a ewe or she-goat, ] that keeps to the lambs or kids, or is familiar with them, and affects them. (IB, TA.)
