بقى

أَبْقَى ذ Longer continuing. (Bd and Jel in xx. 74, &c.) ― -b2- هُوَ أَبْقَى الرَّجُلَيْنِ means أَكْثَرُ اـِبْقَاآءً عَلَى قَوْمِهِ [ He is the more merciful, or pitiful, or compassionate, of the two men, towards his people ]. (TA.)
