10 اـِسْتَبْغَىَ see 1, first sentence. ― -b2- You say also, استبغى القَوْمَ فَبَغَوْهُ and بَغَوْا لَهُ [ He asked the people, or company of men, to seek a thing for him, and they sought it for him ]. (Lh, K.)
