بغت

البَاغُوتُ الباغوت The festival, (A,) or a certain festival, (IAth, K,) of the Christians; (A, IAth, K;) [namely, Easter; ] thus called accord. to some; but accord. to others, الباعوث [q. v.], with the unpointed ع and the three-pointed ث. (IAth.)
