بعث

البَاعُوثُ الباعوث باعوث , (L, K,) or, accord. to some, البَاغُوتُ, q. v., with the pointed غ and the double-pointed ت, (TA,) [ The Christian festival of Easter; ] the اِسْتِسْقَاآء of the Christians; (K;) or [rather] what is to the Christians as the استسقاآء is to the Muslims: a Syriac word. (L.)
