3 باطشهُ ذ , (S, TA,) inf. n. مُبَاطَشَةٌ (S, K) and بِطَاشٌ, (TA,) He laboured, strove, struggled, contended, or conflicted, with him, to prevail, or overcome; syn. of the inf. n. مُعَالَجَةٌ.
