(S, K.) You say تَيْسٌ أَبْرَقٌ and عَنْزٌ بَرْقَاآءُ [ A black and white he-goat and she-goat ]: (S, K:) and شَاةٌ بَرْقَاآءُ a ewe whose white wool is cleft, or divided, by black flocks [or streaks ]: (K:) أَبْرَقُ and بَرْقَاآءُ applied to sheep or goats are like أَبْلَقُ and بَلْقَاآءُ applied to beasts of the equine kind, and أَبْقَعُ and بَقْعَاآءُ to dogs. (Lh, TA.) ― -b2- بَرْقَاآءُ is also a name given to An eye; (S, M;) because it has blackness and whiteness mingled in it: (M, TA:) dual بَرْقَاوَانِ. (TA.) And عَيْنٌ بَرْقَاآءُ signifies An eye black in the iris, with whiteness [of the rest] of the bulb. (TA.) ― -b3- رَوْضَةٌ بَرْقاآءُ A meadorc, or garden, in which are two colours.
