ظلف

ظُلَّفٌ ذ [a pl. of which the sing. is not mentioned: accord. to general analogy, the sing. should be ظَالِفٌ]. ظُلُوفٌ ظُلَّفٌ means Hard ظُلُوف [or divided hoofs ]: (S, O, K:) the latter word being a corroborative. (S, O.)
