And one says, طَوَّحَتْهُمْ طَيْحَاتٌ Calamities destroyed them. (TA.) And ذَهَبَتْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ طَيْحَاتٍ Their possessions, or cattle, went away dispersed, or scattered, and remote. (TA.)
